Stuart Feldman was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, graduating from Middleton High School. He attended Tulane University in New Orleans, followed by law school at the University of South Carolina School of Law. Stuart began his career as an Assistant Federal Public Defender before going into private practice with his brother, Stanley, of blessed memory.
Since 1985, Stuart has been a sole practitioner focused primarily in Family Law. He has handled many difficult cases, including those involving parental alienation, and believes from years of experience that people faced with divorce should strive to address their difficulties in a balanced and cooperative manner. The challenges in doing so are significant, but the benefits are enormously important to all concerned, especially the children.
As it is said, “justice, justice shalt thou pursue.” This means, among other things, that one must pursue a just outcome by just means. It also means that one must properly consider the perspective of the other person. Stuart is a founding member of the Charleston Cooperative Family Law Association (CCFLA) because he is committed to implementing these principles in zealously representing his clients.
