Elizabeth Stringer

Elizabeth “Liz” J. Stringer is an attorney practicing primarily in civil litigation with a focus on family and probate law.  In addition to her litigation practice, she is passionate about using alternate forms of dispute resolution to solve legal problems. To this end, Liz is certified in collaborative law, mediation and arbitration.

Liz was raised on Folly Beach, South Carolina.  She attended Nativity Grade School and Bishop England High School.  Upon graduating from Bishop England in 1994, she attended the University of South Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Religious Studies.  She graduated in 1998 cum laude from the University of South Carolina.

Upon her graduation from the University School of Law in 2002, she was admitted to practice law in South Carolina.  Since that time, Liz has practiced law with her father, Rick on James Island, South Carolina.  She is an active member of the South Carolina and Charleston Bar Associations.  She is a former Board member of the South Carolina Collaborative Law Institute and former President of the Mediation and Meeting Center of Charleston.

Liz is a native of Folly Beach where she currently resides with her husband, Andrew, and their (collective) children, Reese, Riley, Ellison, Bret, Aoife and Cotton.
