Tara Tatum, SRS®, ABR®, PSA®

As a Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE®) with over 25 years of experience in the Charleston market, Tara Tatum specializes in providing neutral, confidential, and trusted guidance in divorce-related real estate matters. She works closely with divorcing couples and their legal teams to navigate property sales with clarity and care—whether the case is amicable or high conflict, simple or complex.

Tara has successfully closed hundreds of transactions, bringing deep expertise in property valuation, marketing, pricing strategy, and negotiation. Her extensive training in mediation, conflict resolution, and divorce coaching allows her to support clients with both professionalism and empathy.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Tara earned her real estate license in 1997 and completed the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors Leadership Institute in 2017. In 2018, she completed advanced training through the Ilumni Institute to become a CDRE®. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, South Carolina Association of Realtors, and Charleston Trident Association of Realtors.

Tara has served as Chair and Co-Chair of CTAR’s Code Pros Committee, where she helped educate agents on ethical practices through real-world case studies. She has received multiple industry honors, from Rookie of the Year to Realtor of Distinction, and remains committed to continuing education to ensure she stays current with market trends, legal standards, and court related-protocols.
