Personal Biography
Catreace Brown-Baker is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director at BAKERS Counseling Services LLC. Catreace has 24 years of experience in the mental health field. She has served as an intern at a psychiatric hospital, a mental health counselor at a community health center, a liason with the Department of Social Services (DSS) and the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), a campus counselor at a local college, a clinical director at a private practice, and a consultant.
Catreace has experience in court matters, doing forensic psychology work. It is Catreace’s hope to continue to serve in this capacity for those who need her services. Catreace is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in two states (South Carolina and Georgia) and is securing her third licensure. Catreace is also a licensed professional counselor supervisor (LPC/S) in South Carolina. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology with a concentration in Counseling from Coker University. Catreace also holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University. Catreace is a proud daughter of a retired United States Marine; and spouse of a former United States Marine.
Catreace is a trauma therapist and uses evidence-based trauma therapies. She is rostered with MUSC’s Project Best for TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) for multiple counties within South Carolina. Additionally, she is training with Conflict Solutions Group in Parent Coordination, Child Custody Evaluations, and other Social Investigations.
