Daniel L. Prenner attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he joined the South Carolina Law Review, the South Carolina Moot Court Bar and the Order of the Wig and Robe. After graduation from law school in 2000, Mr. Prenner clerked for a United States District Court Judge, and then worked at the law firm of Nelson Mullins Riley and Scarborough, LLP, in Columbia, South Carolina. Mr. Prenner left Nelson Mullins in 2003 to join the Charleston County Public Defender’s Office, where he gained invaluable trial experience. Mr. Prenner opened his own law firm in 2005. He also served as a jury trial prosecutor for the City of Charleston, from 2009 to 2012. Since 2005, Mr. Prenner’s practice has focused on family law matters. He enjoys helping clients navigate their way through the family court process. Mr. Prenner is a certified family court mediator, and a member of the Charleston County Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar Association, and the South Carolina Association for Justice. He also serves as a panel member on the South Carolina Bar Fee Dispute Resolution Board. In 2018, Mr. Prenner attended the National Family Law Trial Institute’s intensive trial advocacy training program, in Houston, Texas.
