Mary J. Murray

Mary Murray graduated Magna Cum Laude from Niagara University in 1987, attending on a basketball scholarship.  She graduated from State University of New York at Buffalo in May 1990 and is licensed to practice law in South Carolina and New York.  Before relocating to Charleston in 2000, Mary was a partner at one of oldest and most prestigious law firms in Western New York where she was a civil litigator.  In Charleston she discovered her my passion- helping individuals facing family conflict.  Mary is a family law and child custody attorney who believes in applying  common sense to avoid a courtroom battle if the circumstances warrant. She has a background of serving as a  court appointed Guardian ad Litem, representing children’s best interests in high conflict custody disputes, a mediator guiding opposing parties in reaching settlement to their conflict, and a busy practice with contested and uncontested cases in the Family Courts in the Lowcountry.
